1. Contact support
Email the HKBU Information Day 2026 team at 334jupas@hkbu.edu.hk.
To help us investigate, include:
- the app version (for example, 1.0.5);
- your device model and iOS or Android version;
- the steps that led to the problem; and
- a screenshot, if possible.
Do not send your one-time login code or other sensitive information. The app does not use passwords. We will never ask you for your login code.
We aim to reply by email, usually within a few business days.
2. Sign in with an email code
The app uses a one-time code sent to your email. There is no password.
- Open the app and enter your email address.
- Tap Send code.
- Check your inbox for a six-digit code. The sender is an automated DoNotReply address ending in azurecomm.net. Check your spam or junk folder if it does not arrive.
- Enter the code in the app. New accounts also ask for your name.
Codes expire after 10 minutes. If you request several codes, use the most recent one.
3. Didn't receive the code?
- Wait 60 seconds before requesting another code. The app limits how often you can resend.
- Check your spam or junk folder and confirm that the email address is correct.
- Make sure your device has a network connection.
- If you requested several codes, use the latest one. Older codes may expire.
- If it still does not arrive, email support with the email address you used. Do not send the code itself.
4. Save and view favourites
- Sign in with your email code.
- Open an event and tap the favourite icon.
- Open My Favourite from the app navigation to see your saved events.
Favourites are linked to your account and sync when you sign in on another device.
5. Campus map and location
The campus map can show your position with a blue dot. Location permission is optional. If you grant it, your device reads your location and displays it on the map; the app does not send your GPS coordinates to HKBU or store them on our servers.
Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap and CARTO. Those providers receive the tile coordinates and your device's IP address, not your GPS position.
If the map is blank, check your network connection and try again.
6. Delete your account
You can delete your account in the app:
- Open Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm Delete.
This removes your account, profile and saved favourites from our service. It cannot be undone. The app signs you out and clears your local session.
If you cannot sign in, email support from the address associated with the account and explain that you want to delete it. Do not send your login code.
7. Privacy
Read the HKBU InfoDay 2026 Privacy Policy. It explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.
8. Report a problem
If something is not working, email 334jupas@hkbu.edu.hk with the details listed in section 1. Do not include your one-time login code or other sensitive information.
